Welcoming the Light through the Darkness
Tonight is the last of the 3 nights of the Full Moon. The first night can be seen as the welcoming of the Full Moon, the second is the Full Moon and the last as the farewell of the Full Moon for the cycle.
This Full Moon is the last of the Gregorian Calendar for 2019. Its' mid point was the 12th of December at 12:12 - 12/12/19 12:12, to many an awakening.
As we move towards Winter Solstice on the 21/12 we go deeper into the darkness. Each day gets darker and darker until the sun stands still - grian-stad a' gheamhraidh - Winter Solistice in Scottish Gaelic. The longest night of the year. On that day the light begins to reappear in the world bit by bit.
Between now and the New Moon on the 26th is a time to let go of all that you no longer need, a time to shed. Let go and welcome a transformation as we move into 2020.
